Technical Assistance Success

Since 2007, TWC has worked alongside the D.C. Office of Partnerships & Grants Services & the D.C. Department of Health HIV/AIDS Administration to administer The Effi Barry Capacity Building Program.  This comprehensive technical assistance & training initiative has strengthened the capacity of 41 local grass-roots HIV/AIDS service providers.  TWC consultants assist with curriculum development, manage bi-monthly classes and oversee course evaluations.  During the most recent evaluation of the program, 100% of participants ranked each session as “Very Good”.

Strategic Planning & Facilitation Success

During December 2008, The D.C. Department of Health Tuberculosis Control Program contracted with ECB to coordinate & facilitate an all-day Staff Retreat.  ECB created pre-assessment instruments, conducted personnel interviews, crafted strategic planning techniques and provided on-site management & facilitation services.  Participants ranked the overall session a 4.6, on a scale from 1 to 5.
